CENTRAL SIGNING SERVICES: WHAT'S YOUR SIGN?
Several years ago, CyberSense first partnered with Central Signing Service (CSS) to automate their business. CSS was currently using a legacy database system and manual business processes for every step of each notary signing order they received. CyberSense developed an easy-to-use system that provides one unified platform for all business operations. The base solution allows mortgage and lending institutions to submit notary signing orders online. The system then organizes the orders allowing CSS administrators to search their database of signing agents and assign the orders to the most appropriate agents. Once orders are assigned, agents can view and process order contents within their online pipeline. At the same time, the submitting parties and CSS administrators can track orders throughout the entire signing process via their own online pipeline.
Recently, after spending the last few years improving and maintaining their existing application, CyberSense again teamed up with the CSS staff to integrate their existing application into QuickBooks. The goal of the integration was to eliminate the last manual step of transferring orders from the website to their accounting software. CyberSense built an extension of the existing system and implemented a comprehensive framework for interacting with the QuickBooks Web Connector, which allows a web application to connect to a desktop version of QuickBooks. This extension now allows all customers, client invoices, and notary bills to be automatically imported into QuickBooks and their payment status updated on the website once they are paid. The CSS web application now provides a nearly automated process from start to finish, freeing up the CSS team to pursue new customers and provide top quality service.
